He is risen! Jesus Christ is risen indeed!!

This is one of the most special times of the year for our family. It is the reminder of God's greatest exhibition of love toward mankind - "But God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

In the book of Genesis, God testifies of man's first sin. But even at that point God promised a redeemer would be given. That promise was kept the day Jesus Christ rose from the dead. God's declaration "This is My Beloved Son in Whom I am well pleased", was proven that Resurrection Sunday years ago.

The sinner's price has been paid! "What must I do to be saved?" That was the question asked of Peter and his response to those seeking was simply this, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved." (Acts 16:31) Coming to God must be done God's way, and Jesus Christ stated clearly, "I am the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but through me." (John 14:6)

The apostle Paul, in the letter to the Romans, proclaimed by the authority of the Lord Himself, "Whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." and "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart God has raised Him from the dead you shall be saved."

Friend, my family and I pray you have trusted in Jesus. His work has been finished on your behalf and mine. God's wrath against sinners has been completely expiated by His Son's death. "There is now therefore no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.", wrote the apostle Paul just to be 100% clear. My family and I pray this is your favorite time of the year too, but if not it might become that this Easter.

To the church we say "grace and peace to you" in the Lord Jesus Christ...
